Dark Franklin
Dark Franklin plays dark, irresistibly Alluring gothic pop/rock. Visuals swirl out of the speakers. Dark purples and blood reds and silver blues. Combined with lyrics that range from storybook fantasy to inner torment, the music will demand your attention

The air is brisk tonight, and the mist is making everything shimmer in the soft crescent moon. The questions stop for just a moment as my thoughts are distracted by the beauty of this night. Walking around the grounds and thinking about the past year and the release of the new CD.
To me, "What Remains" is a surrender of sorts and a liberation of another. We all start out where we are placed or where we find ourselves; in the company of others who share the same interests, but as interests change, so to do we change those we share our interests with. Love never changes, lessens or forgets, but we travel on.
"What Remains" is the darkest CD yet from the band. With Bill and I writing songs exclusively for this CD. In CD's past, songs were used that were written for other projects and didn't neccesarily represent the true sound or direction of the band as we see ourselves now. As much as we love those songs, it probably would have been best to release those as a Non-Dark Franklin project. Dark Franklin starts now as a Gothic band as we always intended it to be.
